ABSTRACT
Coaxial cable contains an inner wire conductor and an outer conductor. In most types of coaxial cables, the region between the two conductors is completely filled with a solid, but flexible, dielectric. Rectangular and circular waveguides, as well as optical fibers, do not contain dielectric.
