ABSTRACT
Hydrogen sulfide, H2S, is a deadly poison, as lethal as cyanide [2]. It can be created by the decomposition of organic matter, such as wastewater transported in a sewer network.
H2S is the second most common cause of fatal gas inhalation exposures in the workplace, after carbon monoxide. H2S accounts for 7.7% of such cases [3-5].
