ABSTRACT

It’s getting late when we finally settle back into work mode, maybe 7.30 p.m. We got burned out at around 6:00 and slipped out to the nearest McDonald’s to eat something and to try to get the numbness out of our minds. We looked like a sorry bunch gathered around a couple of tables shoveling our French fries and Big Macs down our throats. The restaurant was busy, lots of people picking up food to take away and a few sitting down to their meals. Most of them seemed to have in common the fact that their workday was over; we envied that. Although we were at least twelve hours into our workday, the most difficult part was still ahead of us.
