ABSTRACT
Blatella germanica (German cockroach) China: This species is used as an antidote, and is said to be effective against renal cancer (Zimian et al. 1997). Mexico: The adults are eaten. The protein content of this species is about 78% of dry weight (Pennino et al. 1991). This species is raised as food (Ramos-Elorduy 1997, Ramos-Elorduy and Pino 2002).
