Diffraction and Microscopy Experiments on Graphene and Carbon Nanotubes

In the case of carbon nanotubes, atomic resolution TEM and STM have also played a key role in verifying our understanding. The structure of single-walled, double-walled and multiwalled carbon nanotubes has been directly verified using these methods, and the dependence of electronic dispersion relation on diameter and (n,m) indices that we predicted in Chapter 5 has been directly verified ([5] of Chapter 5).
