ABSTRACT
Problem Description-Air emissions from a facility’s fabric-drying ovens were causing an opacity problem in the stack that was above the state regulatory standard (3M 1989).
Pollution Prevention Technique(s) Used-The fabric treatment/coating chemical was reformulated. The new formula was tested and showed a substantial reduction in stack gas opacity.
