ABSTRACT

Providing QoS to end users is one of the most important challenges in today’s telecommunication industry for supporting a wide range of real-time and nonreal-time applications. QoS can be defined as a measure of service quality offered by a network to end users and applications [8]. The frequent link failures in MANETs due to the mobility of nodes makes source nodes spent most of their time in route setup and maintenance instead of sending messages. MANETs suffer from low throughput, frequent end-to-end delays, and high control packet overhead.
