MANETs are rapidly gaining popularity because of their distinguishing characteristics such as lack of fixed infrastructure, ease of deployment, no need for central administration, and increased connectivity. However, they suffer from routing complexity, need for path management and delays caused by multi-hop relaying. Providing the best QoS in MANETS is challenging.
