ABSTRACT
A comprehensive corporate defense program should help ensure the adoption of an enterprise-wide approach to corporate defense. Enterprise defense includes the methods, systems, and processes used by the organization to help ensure that its corporate defense objectives are achieved. It refers to the complete framework for responsibility and accountability of corporate defense activities throughout the entire organization. Organizations typically address corporate defense activities in a variety of ways across business units, divisions, departments, and functions. Each of these may vary in its corporate defense capability and capacity and in its willingness to collaborate with one another. The challenge of an enterprise-wide approach to corporate defense is to help improve the organization’s corporate defense capability and capacity across the organization.
