Since the turn of the twenty-first century, the corporate world has seen something of a change in mind-set in relation to how organizations are approaching corporate defense and in relation to how corporate defense components themselves are changing. It must be said that much of this has been the result of enforced change as a result of regulator reactions to incidents; however, there are also promising signs that at least some firms are adopting a more proactive approach to developing their corporate defense capability.
