ABSTRACT
In Chapter 1, I introduced a roadmap and a design for six sigma tool called DMADV. Before I explore the concept of transfer function further, I would like to review the steps of this tool rst and then, indicate our position on the product development roadmap and along DMADV. Briey, the steps of DMADV are as follows:
1. Dene. Properly dene the customer issues or needs that require a set of solutions.
