ABSTRACT

A feasibility study is conducted for all kinds of projects or new initiatives to assess whether the project or initiative is worth spending time and money on. Generally, when an idea is discussed, some goals and benefits are the targets of that discussion. To know if an idea is good enough and whether the targeted goals and benefits are achievable, some kind of feasibility study is conducted. Through feasibility studies, people try to find out possible and available alternatives. In our daily lives, we conduct feasibility studies for several activities. For example, if you wish to construct a new house, then you should conduct feasibility studies regarding technical matters such as suitability of land, availability of water and electricity, and distance from the nearby city. In addition, you should conduct feasibility studies regarding financial matters such as whether it is better to construct a house than to buy an existing one.
