ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Although the security community has made large strides toward information dominance, the problem of harnessing big data for national security purposes is still an evolving science. Part of this trend involves the increasing use of mobile phones, particularly in the developing world. To leverage this advancement, we have researched and developed a knowledge management cloud service and a mobile data collection and situational awareness capability. We apply an innovative approach that incorporates both logical and probabilistic methodologies to automatically detect anomalies within the data for actionable insight.
