Signalment and History A 2-year-old, neutered, male Boxer weighing 30 kg sustained a left tibia fracture when his limb became entangled in a chain.
Patient Assessment The young adult patient was in good health. Upon presentation the limb was swollen and was placed in a Robert Jones bandage.
