ABSTRACT
I met George Woodworth in 1966, as he was coming to the Statistics Department at Stanford as an incoming Assistant Professor, and I was leaving to take my first job as Assistant Professor at Yale. Because he, like me, had a taste and respect for doing statistics, I passed to him my consulting contacts at Stanford’s Political Science Department.
