ABSTRACT
Over a period of years, four companies, designated as A, B, C, and D, conducted endurance tests on groups of deep-groove ball bearings. A detailed statistical investigation of the fatigue life was subsequently carried out [1]. The data on the 50 groups of ball bearings from Vendor A will be analyzed below. The data on 148 groups from Vendor B will be analyzed in Chapter 78. The 12 groups from Vendor C and the 3 groups from Vendor D will not be considered.
