ABSTRACT
Abstract: In this chapter, the terms pollution and contaminant have been discussed in brief. The various aspects of environmental remediation have been mentioned, and the concept of green composites has been introduced. Before discussion on green composites, an introduction to the green chemistry and the principles involved have been discussed. Details about green composites, their characteristics and their applications have been provided.
