ABSTRACT
At an early stage of the drug discovery process, it is important to advance the evaluation of potential drug candidates from in vitro to in vivo investigations. The initial development of compounds is guided by their ability to interact with the chosen biological target using parameters such as afnity and efcacy, in combination with physiochemical parameters such as solubility and lipophilicity.
