ABSTRACT
Applications can range from Microso applications to industry-specic, proprietary applications. Because the application is running from a server in the cloud, any type of device can be used (e.g., iPad). Various devices are compatible running applications through the cloud, which would not ordinarily support an application when it is locally installed. Aer connecting securely, usually a virtual private network, a device can either utilize a remote desktop connection or a shortcut pointing to the application housed on the cloud server. Each user will only be able to view and access les and applications they have permissions for. When data are securely stored in the cloud, accessible from anywhere will give businesses a strategic advantage.
