ABSTRACT
Hydrocracking is a refining technology that, like hydrotreating (Chapter 10), also falls under the general process umbrella of hydroprocessing. The outcome is the conversion of a variety of feedstocks to a range of products (Table 11.1), and units to accomplish this goal can be found at various points in a refinery (Figure 11.1).
