ABSTRACT

The projected capacity of Prague WtE plant is 310 000 t MSW/year. The MSW are incinerated in the boiler. The first stage of the NOx removal takes place inside the boiler (SNCR). Next step is the Spray dryer. It consists of a centrifugal cyclone for dust removal. Then the flue gas moves to the electrostatic precipitator. The temperature of flue gas is 220 °C. After that the gas moves to the SCR system. The gases are cooled before the wet scrubber system down to 75 °C. After all these steps the flue gas goes into the chimney and is emitted into the air.
