ABSTRACT
Ninety percent of aqueous drains via the anterior chamber drainage angle. Total internal reflection of light from the angle on the cornea prevents angle structures from being seen directly. This can be overcome if a material with a greater refractive index than the cornea, such as a gonioscopy lens, is placed on its anterior surface.
