ABSTRACT
A temporary resident is defined as a patient who is in your area for at least 24 hours, but not more than 3 months. There are two rates payable, the lower for a patient resident for up to 15 days from the date on which the GP first provides treatment, and the higher for the temporary resident expecting to stay for more than 15 days.
