ABSTRACT
Random sampling Random selection of the sample is another important issue. In random sampling everyone in the sampling frame has an equal probability of being chosen. For a sample to be truly representative of the population, a random sample should be taken. Random sampling can also help to minimise bias. Bias can be defined as an effect that produces results which are systematically different from the true values.
