The Information Age has made profound changes in society and is gradually penetrating the healthcare segment. The Internet, the World Wide Web (www) and telemedicine are some of the significant areas where rapid transition is occurring. Millions of physicians, healthcare providers and patients are accessing the Web daily for patient information, consultation and distance learning.1
