ABSTRACT

This book is not written for academics or educationalists. I

hope that I have avoided using the jargon that so often makes simple things sound complicated. The book is aimed at the

busy general practitioner who is struggling to find time for learning. If just one reader ends up motivated or rescued from

‘burnout’ it will have been worthwhile. This book reminds

you why you need to continue learning (to be a good doctor) and who you do it for (yourself).
