Data A collection of facts, observations or measurements. In data collection, particular attention is paid to make certain that the facts are representative, complete and relevant. In data handling, the data are stored, protected, manipulated, analysed or presented. In prospective data collection, data are collected over a defined period of time or for a predetermined number of cases.
