ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses some planning tips: thinking about our entire week, scheduling uninterrupted time every day to do your planning, using the first 10 minutes of each day to plan or review your plan for the day, and taking the first 10% of any time block and dedicate it to planning that block. If we fail to plan, we are by default planning to fail. The six Ps of planning are: Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance. The major projects are developing specific plans for how to accomplish major projects, organizing information for developing specific plans, creating and using a Gantt chart, putting schedules in writing and reviewing schedules regularly, and setting our own due dates for projects earlier than the actual deadline.
