ABSTRACT
The society provides valuable information to anyone with an interest in the care of elderly people. Age Concern is an organisation for the support of all people aged over 50 years in the UK. It provides essential services, advice on income and benefits, community care, health, housing, consumer issues and information. British Geriatric Society is the only association of specialist medical professionals practising geriatric medicine in the UK. Global Action on Ageing is an international citizen group that works on issues of concern to older people. A global network of not-for-profit organisations with a mission to work with and for disadvantaged older people worldwide to achieve a lasting improvement in the quality of their lives. International Organisation on Migration was established in 1951 as an intergovernmental organisation to resettle European displaced persons, refugees and migrants. The British Heart Foundation plays a vital role in funding education, training and research relating to heart disease.
