Come on, just do it. You know there are hundreds of little organisations out there, trying to achieve something, do a bit of good, or just have some fun.
Volunteering is good for you. It broadens your experience, looks good on the CV and will extend and test your management skills. Let's face it. Getting the best out of staff is not the easiest thing in the world, but when push comes to shove you can push and shove! Working with volunteers is very different. No pushing and shoving. Just a lot of coaxing and motivation.
