ABSTRACT
We were due to leave the RAF in less than a year when I had my stroke. So, soon Iain would be jobless, and we would be homeless. After the initial crisis had passed, it was imperative to give this some attention. The plan was that Iain should work in medical education, with a part-time post as a GP.
