ABSTRACT
Adults with intellectual disability experience the same range of healthcare problems as is commonly experienced in the general population; however, many of these problems occur with greater prevalence and remain unrecognised or poorly man aged. In addition, adults with intellectual disability experience disorders that are associated with the aetiology of their disability.
