This quote reflects the sentiment with which I reached out to a few industry veterans to get their thoughts on where quality is heading in the larger IT scenario, in the coming years. Such veterans help us see what is coming and also guide us into preparing for it, not because as individual testers we are not capable of setting our own direction, but because most often, such directional guidance is important to bring in clarity among randomization, chaos, and complex dynamics.
