Vulvar Cancer

Squamous-cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common type of vulval cancer (90% of cases) (de Hulla, Oonk & van der Zee 2004), followed by melanoma, basal-cell carcinoma (BCC), Paget’s disease, adenocarcinoma, and sarcoma. The most common sites of vulval cancer are the labia majora and labia minora, but the clitoris and perineum can also be affected.
