Evaluation and treatment of the severe traumatic brain injury patient

The examination of patients with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) involves a different testing from that of patients with mild to moderate TBI. It does challenge the clinician to be particularly familiar with neuroanatomy. The differences will be described next.
