ABSTRACT
Anesthetics can impact multiple body systems, so the researcher should ensure that the anesthetic used does not interfere with that under study. In particular, cerebral 90metabolism and neurotransmitters are often affected. Carrier gases (i.e., air, O2, etc.) may also affect results.
