Habits and Inuences on Eating Behaviours

Most people, if asked why they eat, would respond with ‘to stay alive’ or ‘because I’m hungry’. Both of these are appropriate answers: the body has a physiological need for food and, when deprived, a sensation of hunger is soon experienced. This is a normal physiological response, which functions to balance the storage and utilization of nutrients with their input from food.
