ABSTRACT
Th e function of the results section is to present the data obtained during the study. Th e results section is the ‘core’ of the paper, even though it can be quite short. It is oft en the fi rst place that readers familiar with the topic will look (aft er the title and abstract). Readers expect the results to provide them with enough data to draw their own conclusions about the answer to the question posed in the introduction.
