Grandview execs are seeing more problems and making deeper connections. They’re beginning to understand healthcare is not unique. I’m supplementing our monthly gemba walks with articles and papers from leading business and technical journals. Execs no longer balk at the connections between, say, hospital admissions processes and the Quick Service Restaurant industry, or between managing demand in Surgical Services and a stamping plant.
