ABSTRACT
Nick was up early on Monday morning. Surprisingly, he had an uninterrupted night’s sleep, and he was looking forward to his morning meeting.
When he arrived at work, he took the elevator up to the “C-Suite” and stopped at Betty’s desk for a quick review of his schedule. Betty was Nick’s administrative assistant and a trusted member of his team. She had been with the hospital for almost thirty years, and she knew everyone and pretty much everything that happened in the hospital, so he wasn’t surprised when she told him that she heard about what happened at the board meeting on Friday.
