ABSTRACT
Having drawn my Arnie for yourself, perhaps you will now feel that he is not for you. If so, it’s time to create your own alternative character. On the next page, sketch out some thumbnail design ideas for a character of your own. Don’t be too detailed with it at this stage. Brainstorm ideas of shapes, styles, and forms. However, do bear in mind that what you will eventually arrive at must be simple and fast to draw, due to the speed drawing nature of the majority of the exercises in this sketchbook. Always remember, simple is best.
