ABSTRACT
The first aim is to summarize the historical development of the field of mesenteric and peritoneal reflection radiology. The second aim is to present an atlas of the radiologic appearance of the mesentery and associated peritoneal reflection, based on recent developments in our understanding of their anatomy.
