ABSTRACT
Liquids are harder to model and the atomistic concepts fall between those for solids and gases. The Stokes-Einstein model for liquids is readily modeled-except for the fluid dynamics part-and gives reasonable quantitative results for diffusion in liquids. This is discussed later in Chapter 13. However, a plausibility argument will be given in this chapter for the diffusion in liquids.
