ABSTRACT
This chapter presents several allied health professions: professional body websites. These include the sites of Association of Professional Music Therapists, British Association of Art Therapists, British Association of Drama Therapists, British and Irish Orthoptic Society, British Association of Prosthetics and Orthotists, and British Dietetic Association. The sites of other associations are also useful such as Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, College of Occupational Therapists, Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Society and College of Radiographers, and Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. Resource or information packs produced by each of the professional bodies are a great source for clarifying issues such as scope of practice, legal issues and so forth.
