ABSTRACT

Broadly speaking, this section of the written paper examines the need for monitoring of routine drug therapy, important drug interactions, and therapeutics for specific patient groups such as the elderly, pregnancy, patients with renal disease, and patients with hepatic disease. Clinical toxicology is a major focus of the examination, and examples of question topics may include poisoning connected with: paracetamol, salicylate, tricyclic antidepressants, lithium, iron, digoxin, and drugs of abuse (DOA).
