ABSTRACT
Introduction The accreditation of online learning is a validation process by which education providers are evaluated against established standards to ensure a high level of educational quality.1 To provide accredited courses, and to be an accredited education provider of online continuing medical education (CME), the provider must meet a set of stringent standards and criteria. This chapter highlights the range of different approaches for accreditation of e-learning.
