ABSTRACT
Introduction I w ill start with a recent scenario as an illustration of my use of e-learning and I w ill return to it at the end of the chapter. Jack is an African man, the same age as me. He came in to see me because the attack of shingles that started three days ago seems to be getting worse, even though my colleague started aciclovir in the first hours. He is otherwise well and there is no evidence of secondary infection.
