ABSTRACT

Multidisciplinary learning is uncommon. Multidisciplinary and multiprofessional learning does not mean that everyone learns the same as everyone else at the same time. Educational counselling may be needed if the development of a multiprofessional learning session or course is being blocked by an individual or professional group. Multiprofessional small-group learning will help the team to develop if the subjects of the learning are relevant to all participants. Shared reflective learning will help to overcome exclusion and encourage true partnerships to develop. It is impossible for an individual who is working alone to identify their own learning needs reliably, or to plan their learning in a cost-effective or systematic manner so that it fits with the overall workplace plan and patients' needs. Prepare a 'spoof' report of an activity that is relevant to the theme of the learning objectives of the event. Having no pre-set curriculum enables the participants to set their current learning objectives for the event.
