The general dynamic theory should thus precede the more particular theories, e.g. static theory, and the latter are in fact constructed from the dynamic theory. We have seen above that Lundberg voiced the same idea in 1930 (cp. sect. V:2), which lead him to throw out some prescient remarks concerning model sequences which he developed first in Economic Expansion.
