ABSTRACT
The study of the three teams shows how good support environments encompassing the five factors identified can help effective social work practice. Appendix 1 (page 128) and Table A1.1 summarise their relative quality in underpinning the effectiveness of the teams. This chapter draws conclusions on changes in social work practice over recent decades and the effectiveness of teams in supporting service users.
